Adventures in fatherhood week 4

I just tried to burp the cat.

Well, he levitated kinda sideways, so, maybe?...

Have you gotten the "baby sway" ingrained in you yet? It never goes away...

I noticed it at the first pediatricians visit at one week. I've never been one to hold terribly still, but now it's a specific not-holding-still.

I can see how it gets ingrained, both positive & negative reinforcement combined with psycho-active chemicals...

HA! Awesome.

I thought it was cute when [livejournal.com profile] deadwinter was getting so used to driving my standard car that he kept trying to depress the clutch in his own (automatic) car. But burping the cat...man, that's good.

Which cat? I can see Imp putting up with that, but Moto...

Also, if you thumped the cat as hard as you thump [livejournal.com profile] schr0dinger, that must have been one startled cat.

In fact, it was Moto. He was not pleased. He levitated, or maybe ported, about two feet, but he was back for more petting within the minute. I think he's feeling a little neglected lately...

*snerk*

Oddly enough, that's exactly the noise a burping cat makes.
