Oh my goodness! You poor thing. We'll have to feed you retroactive chicken soup. The new plan sounds like a fairly good one, though I happen to think that Boston is much more fun than Montreal (I've talked to people who love it, and think of it as a party town. I just don't see it.).
I do too. I think that you'll like the Sunday Jam series, it's much smaller, and more airy, much more open to experimentation. Also, you should come to our Jewish Christmas Party, we eat chinese food, watch movies, hang out....
And I suppose that it depends on just how far back your tradition goes. Mine isn't so worried about quantity as quality.
