sub 4!

I finally ran a sub 4 hour marathon! by less than 15 seconds... This was my third swing at 4 hours, my last two marathons were 4:01:11 and 4:00:16.

ricevermicelli also ran her first half at the same time!

Due to the way the courses were set up, and our respective speeds, we managed to get a quick smooch in mid-race as we were coming at each other over a bridge. Then she was sensible at the end and limited herself to yelling and clapping when she saw me in the last mile.

Yeah, I kept telling myself that I could slow down after the next mile for about 6 miles straight. It worked.
