As I was putting him to bed, schr0dinger asked me to take his plush duck to bed. I was a little confused, thinking he wanted to sleep with the duck. No, he wanted me to sleep with the duck. I'm not sure which of us he thinks needs the cuddles, but I'm heading to bed now, and I'm taking the duck with me...

Yeah, I read something decades ago about how technology was destroying localized cultures, by allowing more people to join in the dominant culture. I thought it was a little overblown then, but I was wrong.

And yes. It is. He's a total sweetie.
