Yesterday the kids and I were barbecuing to an Elvis playlist on youtube. A new song came on, and I thought "I didn't know Elvis covered a Pet Shop Boys tune. It's good, but he really didn't do it justice. Wait..."

It turns out that Always on my mind has been recorded by a number of musicians.

The kids actually put down their water guns when I played the 1987 original.

Having now heard that version, he also did it better than Elvis did (_not_ that Elvis did a bad job with it...).

But the Pet Shop Boys retroactively made the other versions covers.
